In marine equipment, pipelines and pumps play a crucial role.

1、 Pipeline

Type:

Seawater pipe: used for transporting seawater, such as in cooling systems, ballast water systems, etc. Corrosion resistant materials such as copper nickel alloy, stainless steel, etc. are usually used.
Freshwater pipe: provides fresh water for domestic water and equipment cooling on board the ship. The material is generally galvanized steel pipe or plastic pipe.
Fuel pipe: Transport fuel to equipment such as the main engine and auxiliary engines. Good sealing and oil resistance are required, commonly using steel pipes or specially designed rubber hoses.
Lubricating oil pipe: responsible for delivering lubricating oil to key components such as the engine to ensure their normal operation. The material requires high pressure resistance and corrosion resistance.
Compressed air pipe: provides compressed air for pneumatic equipment on board, such as starting the main engine, controlling valves, etc. Generally, seamless steel pipes are used.

Characteristic:

Corrosion resistance: Due to the long-term operation of ships in marine environments, pipelines must be able to resist corrosion from seawater, salt spray, etc.
Pressure resistance: Some pipelines need to withstand high pressure, such as fuel and lubricating oil pipes, so they must have sufficient strength.
Sealing: Ensure that the pipeline system does not leak during operation to ensure the safety and normal operation of the vessel.
Reasonable layout: The layout of pipelines should consider the structure and spatial limitations of the vessel, while also being easy to install, maintain, and inspect.
