Refrigeration is also widely used in areas such as food preservation
HVAC and refrigeration play an important role in the built environment
Refrigeration
Principle:
Refrigeration is the transfer of heat from a low-temperature object to a high-temperature object through the circulating flow of refrigerant. Common refrigerants are Freon, ammonia, etc.
The refrigeration system is mainly composed of compressor, condenser, expansion valve and evaporator. The compressor compresses the refrigerant into a high-temperature, high-pressure gas, and then dissipates the heat through the condenser, turning it into a high-pressure liquid. The high-pressure liquid enters the evaporator after throttling and pressure reduction through the expansion valve, and absorbs the indoor heat in the evaporator to achieve the refrigeration effect.
Applications:
In addition to being used in air-conditioning systems, refrigeration is also widely used in food preservation, pharmaceutical storage, industrial production and other fields. For example, cold storage is used for storing food and medicines, which need to maintain a constant low-temperature environment; some industrial production processes also require specific low-temperature conditions.
The design and operation of HVACR systems need to take into account factors such as the building's use, size, geographic location, and climatic conditions in order to achieve the goals of comfort, energy efficiency, and environmental protection. At the same time, it is also very important to regularly maintain and service the system to ensure its normal operation.
